I would try 50/50 ivory and translucent clay :) as the base for the pastels

Hi Nicole, It's Monday, August 19th and originally I was suppose to be on holiday in California with my Dad but he has not been feeling well so the trip was cancelled. I live in Virginia in a very old part of town called Westover Village in a very tiny studio apartment,3rd floor,no elevator and they call it a Flat. It's registered with the historical society so nails and molly bolts are not allowed so other than my foyer and bedroom being decorated my living room walls are blank. My Mum passed away and she left me most of her wonderful furniture so I am a bit overwhelmed with all I have. This week I need to make great use of my time to finish unpacking and with a small storage unit in the basement 2 small closets in the flat, no bathroom vanity I have to be constructive. I am the only female where I work and I work very long hours and come home very tired. I so want to make a craft area in my bedroom to get going on my crafts for an upcoming 3 day sale in November. My sewing machine is in my bedroom. But would like to find a simple desk to use for my beading and eventually polymer creations. I have been itching to try a hand at it. I have a few tools and I already have a Dremel for woodworking. I have a little oven that was my Mum 's called a Bagal toaster oven, but you can also bake in it. Most ovens are horizontal and this one is vertical so it's quite nice in a tiny kitchen. I am saving to buy my own little house. I have a friend whose polymer jewelry is out of this world and since seeing and meeting her at the country fair 2 years ago I had been itching to try it but at the time I was moving out of my Mum's house and packing it up and working full time. This winter I really want to try it for sure and I rec'd my bought a tiny bird house for earrings. I am just buying one mold to make sure I can succeed at the art. Out of all the videos about this art you have the most formative video and you covered all my questions. My Dad is from Manchester, England. He came over in the Queen Mary September 1947 with his Mum and Dad as a 9 year old after the war. I will subscribe to your Instagram account also. Have a wonderful day, Rebekah
